Frequently Asked Questions
A first consultation is recommended if you have concerns about infertility or have been trying to conceive for a longer period: generally after 1 year of trying, or after 6 months of unsuccessful attempts if you are over 35. The consultation helps assess the situation, identify potential causes, and plan the next steps.
The €200 discount is valid for laboratory procedures related to IVF treatment, which play a key role in ensuring the fertilized egg can safely develop into a healthy embryo. This may include, among others, sperm selection, assessment of egg maturity, extended embryo culture, and support for implantation. You will choose the most suitable methods for you together with your doctor – you can use the discount where it helps the most.
IVF (in vitro fertilization, commonly referred to as ‘test tube baby’ procedure) is a method of assisted reproduction in which an egg and sperm unite in a laboratory environment, outside the female body. After fertilization, the embryo is cultured, and then transferred to the uterus for successful implantation and pregnancy.
Every case is unique. At GYNCARE, we can suggest solutions that may increase the chances of success for your next cycle – including laboratory methods, ICSI, or extended embryo culture.
The chance of success depends on several factors: the woman’s age, the quality of eggs and sperm, overall health, and potential genetic or hormonal factors. Appropriately chosen laboratory methods and an individualized approach can significantly improve these chances.
IVF may be suitable for couples who wish to have a baby but are unable to achieve spontaneous pregnancy for some reason. It is important to know that even a healthy couple under 30 has, on average, only about a 20–25% chance of conception per cycle, and approximately 80–85% of couples achieve pregnancy within one year. If you have been trying for more than a year, it is advisable to contact our center; if you are over 35, it is recommended to consult a specialist after six months of unsuccessful attempts.
