After studying at the Faculty of Medicine of Palacký University in Olomouc, Dr. Belušáková returned to Slovakia, where in 2015 she completed her attestation in gynaecology and obstetrics at the First Gynaecology and Obstetrics Clinic at the St. Cyril and Methodius Hospital.
During her practice, she has worked on the issue of recurrent miscarriages and the genetic origin of endometriosis, resulting in publications in peer-reviewed journals as well as presentations at conferences. She became involved in assisted reproduction during her time at the University Center for Assisted Reproduction. Here she started research on “Ovarian reserve in reproductive medicine” as part of her PhD studies at the Faculty of Medicine of the UK. In addition, she completed her internship at the UPMD (Institute of Maternal and Child Care) in Prague as part of the ENTOG (European Network of Trainees in Obstetrics and Gynaecology) exchange programme.
Since 2016, she has been working at the ISCARE assisted reproduction clinic in Bratislava for 7 years, during which time she has continued her research and publishing activities. In 2023 she received her PhD and in the same year she became part of the GYNCARE team in Nitra. In 2025 she managed to obtain a second certification in Reproductive Medicine and at the same time became the head physician of the newly opened GYNCARE Bratislava clinic.
